The ongoing collaboration between the RAIL lab and Daegu National University of Education (DNUE) has taken another step forward, with the signing of an MOU. DNUE’s Dean of Strategic Development and Planning, and former RAIL visiting scholar, Dr. Youngkwon Bae traveled to Athens, Georgia to sign the MOU and meet with RAIL faculty and students.
The meeting began with a presentation about on-going research at RAIL, focusing on two programs RAIL and DNUE will collaborate on: STEM integrated robotics education and SAVE4Youth. (Click here for more information on the SAVE4Youth program implementation in Korea).
RAIL Faculty and students were joined by the head of the Department of Career and Information Studies, Dr. Rob Branch, as well as a representative from UGA’s Office of International Education, Brian Watkins, and a visiting scholar from South Africa, Dr. Marietta Jansen van Vuuren.
